What we’re looking for

We need a new “Remote Video Editor”. This is a remote (work-from-home) position.

As a “Remote Video Editor”, you will be working with our team to create engaging social media videos (example and example), sizzle reels (example and example), and YouTube Vlogs (example).

Our video editors take the initial ideas and assets that we have for our clients and turn them into eye-catching videos that support and amplify the brand.

Pay & Growth Opportunities

Our “Remote Video Editors” are paid a salary of $600/week for 40 hours a week

○ We will start with a few set projects that you will be paid for

○ We will be looking for attention to detail and timeliness.

Once you understand how we operate and have proven quality work, we can assign you more projects and promote you to full-time with 40 hours a week.

The Ideal Candidate

Creative:

● Our clients rely on us to make them look good, but also engage and inform their audience. We need someone who can accurately capture the vibe and message of the client so that their audience can truly feel a unique connection with them.

Team Player:

● We all have our strengths, but when we can collaborate and combine our skills with others... that’s where the real magic happens. Quick communication and team work is a must within our agency to make sure that our projects are done on time and meet our highest standards. Not only that, when things are running smoothly, our creativity flows more freely, our work improves, and we enjoy the work that we produce.

Computer/Online proficiency:

● We work with Google Drive, DropBox, YouTube, and task management software. You should be comfortable using these kinds of platforms/tools as you will be downloading/uploading/sharing content and creating/updating projects in our task management software.

Fluent English speaker and writer:

● You will work with clients that have strong accents or dry humor. It is important to speak, understand, and write English well to work with text overlays, captions, etc.

Make sure you are comfortable with:

● Working from home.

● Managing your own time. Leaving things to the last minute will not work because our team operates all around the world. We need you to take initiative to ensure things are completed as soon as possible.

● Change. We are growing and our processes are frequently changing in an effort to make our business even better (we are always looking for our team to provide feedback to make things stronger).

● Feedback. Our projects go through approval and clients also change their mind. Revisions are just part of the process in the creative space and you need to be able to take feedback and implement it.

Hiring Process

1) Submit your resume, work examples, and answers to our questions. Our team will go through applications. Most people don’t pay attention to the instructions and are removed.

2) Those that follow instructions and catch our eye will be invited to have a Zoom call with one of our team to talk about scheduling, job role specifics, answer any questions you may have, etc.

3) Upon further review, if we are happy with your application and our call... we will invite you to complete a few paid projects with us.

4) Lastly, if we are both happy, you will be welcomed to the team!
